You Matter to God most
Matter – In science there is a term called Matter. The definition of Matter is anything that has mass meaning weight and takes up space is Matter. The Earth is made up of some 97 percent Matter. When it comes to Matter, it’s everywhere we look, taste, smell, or feel on Earth.
That’s a whole lot of Matter all around but when it comes to importance, people are at the top of the Matter chain. Nothing in all of creation is by accident from God’s perspective. Everything matter’s Him but people Matter to God most.
The next time you feel insignificant, tell yourself I am at the top of the Matter chain and I Matter to God most.
As I was meditating on God’s Word this past week, God directed me to Psalms 139:13-14(NIV).
Psalm 139:13-14 (New International Version)
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
This particular Psalm that King David wrote focuses on how God directs our every step and in fact He knew us before we were even born. In verse 13, King David acknowledges that God created him in his mother’s womb. God put him together before he was ever born.
When it came to you, God formed you and put you all together in your mother’s womb as well. Everything that we are was all by God’s design and the amazing thing is that it all started before we were born.
In verse 14, David proclaims to all creation that he was fearfully and wonderfully made. God doesn’t make mistakes because when it came to creating people, He put us together with fine detail and awesome wonder.
You are unique to God because He created you and knew you in mother’s womb and if you can grasp this thought, you existed to God even before you were put together in your mother’s womb. That is how big and deep God is.
You are unique to God because He created you for this particular time in history. You could have been born at anytime but God choose to have you be born in the 21st century.
You are unique to God because He created you for His purpose. God’s purpose for your life is twofold. First, God created you to have relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. Second, God created you for a task that is uniquely designed for your talents and gifts. Nobody else can accomplish the work that God has for you to do.
All of what God called you to do is motivated by His desire for you to become more like Jesus Christ so you can glorify Him in the highest and for you to bring as many people to a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. That is why when it comes to Matter, You are at the top of the Matter chain.
The Challenge – This week read all of Psalms 139 and soak up how much you truly Matter to God.
Start praying and specifically asking God to lead you by the Spirit so you can know and accomplish God’s purpose for your life.
Tell someone this week how much they Matter to God and if they don’t have a relationship with Him, ask them if they would like to start a relationship with Him through receiving Jesus Christ into their heart. Be bold because the harvest is plentiful and ready to be picked for His Glory.
Be Blessed,
Joey
PS: If you need prayer, write you requests in the comments section of the blog and we will pray for those needs. Let us know when God answers your prayers by sending your testimonies.
If you haven't received Jesus Christ yet and you want to, pray this prayer with me. Dear God I admit I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I believe the Savior who can and will forgive my sins and give me eternal life is Jesus Christ. I confess Jesus today as my Lord and Savior and commit my life to Him. I pray this in the name of Jesus Amen.
Let us know if you received Christ so we can celebrate with you because it’s the greatest thing you will ever do in this life.

Praise God for your encouragement Joey especially because Mia has been so sick lately. I know that God does not make mistakes and that we are created exactly how He designed us. Praise God for my daughter that was fearfully and wonderfully made!
